Whether you are a newcomer to Stockholm, or maybe about to take your leave of this magnificent city, here’s a chance to delve a little deeper, and discover more of the history behind the façades – with a particular SIS emphasis.

Put on your walking shoes and join us for a tour from SIS’s past to the future.  We are delighted to invite you to join us on the SIS Historical Tour of Stockholm on Saturday, 11 June 2022. 

The party will assemble at Djurgårdens Wärdshus (the location where SIS was founded in 1951) at 11am.  We will walk along Skansen viewing historical sites along the way.  A short ferry ride will take us from Allmänna Gränd (Gröna Lund) to Skeppsholmen.  (Don’t forget to being your SL card for this short journey.) 

From Långa Raden (SIS’s second location in the city) we will walk to Skeppsholmen, and then to Brunnsgatan. To finish, we walk to the main building taking in SIS’s future campus at Norra Latin en route. 

Lunch will be available at a nearby restaurant. The cost of lunch is not included in the Tour, but the School has reserved a few places so please confirm if you would like to join us and we will send you a menu in advance.
