Job description:
Part-time kitchen staff member working 4 hours daily Monday through Friday.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle dishes (main duty)
Other:
- Vegetables (preparation, rinse, and cutting)
- ”Save and recycle” (leftover veggies)
- Handle and distribute fruits
- Handle dishes
- Daily cleaning of the kitchen according to regulations
- Coffee machine in the MB staff lounge
- Handle garbage Handle food deliveries (lunch caterer)
Occasionally:
- Sometimes other (related) duties might be assigned
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food service role.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.

Child Protection Policy
At Stockholm International School, we are committed to protecting children. Aligned with the recommendations of the International Task Force on Child Protection, we hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection. All applicants will therefore be required to undergo appropriate child protection screening. Included in the recruitment process will be a local and national police check, as well as a mandatory police background check from the last 10 years of employment in every country worked. A judicial background check will be conducted prior to the issuance of the contract for prospective candidates applying to work at our school.

Contract: Permanent position (with a 6 month probationary period)
Employment rate: 50%
Start date: As soon as possible. Aligned with the school year, this position is considered applicable for recess pay (uppehållstjänst)
