Emma McCluskey

Emma McCluskey teaches MYP English language and literature and I&S to grades 8-10. She hails from Ireland and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics, Sociology and History from NUI Galway and a Teacher’s Diploma from University College Cork. Her MA in International education was completed in 2012 with the University of Bath in the UK. 

She has taught in international education since 1998 and has experience teaching English, History and TOK and is passionate about MUN. Her experiences range from primary teaching through all grades of secondary and she has taught English to adults in France and the Netherlands and Czechia. 

The last 9 years were spent in Africa in Ethiopia and Zimbabwe and before that she taught in the Netherlands, Thailand, China, Czechia, France and Ireland. She is excited to be in Sweden working at SIS in this globally diverse international school.
