Important information
If a student does not qualify for a government contribution, parents/guardians must pay the full amount in addition to the listed tuition fee.
To be eligible, the student must be registered with their local municipality (kommun) and hold a Swedish Personal Number. If registration is missing or the contribution is denied for any reason, total fees will be significantly higher.
SIS may receive contributions for students in grades 1–9 who meet admission requirements, and for grades 10–12 where approved by the municipality. In grades 10-12, non-EU diplomatic families are generally not eligible.
SIS applies for the subsidy, but complete student information must be provided promptly. Subsidies are not guaranteed. Parents/guardians are responsible for registration with Swedish authorities and for updating address details. Any subsidy shortfall will be charged to parents.
