At SIS, student health and well-being are at the centre of everything we do. We believe school is about much more than lessons and homework. In the Primary and Middle Years, children are learning how to make friends, understand new cultures, and feel confident in a new school community. In Upper School they are balancing personal development with the pressures of study and examination deadlines.

That is why SIS offers a warm, caring, and supportive environment where every child can grow – both academically and emotionally.

Dedicated support

Each school section has dedicated counsellors and student-support services to provide social and emotional support and guidance as students develop and mature.

Our counsellors are fully qualified and experienced in working with children of different ages. They help students understand their emotions, build confidence, develop empathy, and feel safe and welcome in our international community.

Whether a child is learning how to express their feelings, adjusting to life in a new country, or simply needs someone to talk to, SIS is always there to help. We make sure every student feels cared for, valued, and connected, so they are happy, confident, and ready to learn.

To further support student well-being, SIS also has two school nurses, one on each campus. They work closely with the Swedish health care system and focus on prevention and health education. This helps us keep our students healthy and supports the overall well-being of every child.
