We offer an exciting and diverse range of enrichment activities designed to spark curiosity and inspire passion. These optional programmes give students the freedom to explore their interests while building on what they learn in the classroom. They enrich the overall student experience and open doors to new ideas, skills, and perspectives beyond the traditional curriculum.

At SIS, time is factored into the school timetable for students to apply themselves to these programmes. They are highly valued for the role they play in fostering personal growth, confidence, and individual achievement. Dedicated SIS staff work closely with students every step of the way – mentoring, supporting, and motivating them to reach their full potential.

Popular enrichment programmes at SIS

  • Erasmus+

    SIS proudly joins the Erasmus+ programme, teaming up with schools across Europe to tackle real-world projects that spark cooperation, understanding, and global citizenship. It’s learning that connects hearts and minds across borders!

  • First Lego League

    Robots + imagination = unstoppable fun! SIS students design, build, and program Lego robots to race against time and complete challenges. Since joining in 2023, our teams have already made their mark in this high-energy, tech-fueled competition.

  • Model United Nations (MUN)

    Step into the shoes of global leaders! MUN gives students a front-row seat to world diplomacy, where they research, write, and debate issues that matter. It’s a crash course in confidence, communication, and critical thinking.

  • The Quirky Quibbler

     

    Known affectionately as the ‘QQ’, this is the students’ own newspaper. Mentored by a member of staff, students learn skills in creating content, writing, interviewing, editing, and producing the QQ in both digital and print formats. The students have even developed their own content on social media, canvassing student opinions on a wide variety of topics.
