Jennifer McCabe

Jennifer McCabe is an Early Years and Junior Years educator who has worked with young children for more than half of her life across a range of contexts. She received her BA in Canada, her first home, and then her post-grad in Early Years education in Australia. She now calls Sweden her home.

She is passionate about Early Years education and truly enjoys her work in Kindergarten at SIS. She believes in learning that is important and meaningful to students. She wants students to feel happy at school and feel intrinsically motivated and believes in developing confident, creative and capable learners and thinkers by challenging and supporting their interests.

Jennifer believes in play-based and cross-curricular learning experiences, by providing tasks that are meaningful and purposeful to students. She aims to help, support and extend each student individually. Jennifer strives to build strong, mutually respectful working relationships with all students.
