Teresa Apondi

MYP I&S Teacher

Teresa Apondi joined Stockholm International School in 2015 after her postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) from the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom. Her country of origin is Kenya and is a dual citizen of Sweden and Kenya. She has lived with family and worked in both countries. Teresa holds a Masters degree in Social Sciences and a postgraduate certificate in communication from University of Nairobi, Kenya, and Uppsala University, Sweden, respectively.

Teresa’s interest in a multicultural environment is inspired by her experience in working with international organisations and government institutions in countries in Africa and Europe. She is currently an MYP Individuals and Societies teacher and coordinates the production of the Yearbook.
