Ellen Larsson

PYP Teacher

Ellen is from Washington State. She studied at The Evergreen State College earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Teaching. Ellen taught middle school Science for four years in Washington State before moving to Berlin, Germany to teach Biology at The John F. Kennedy school.

Ellen relocated to Stockholm in 2001 and she has been at SIS since 2004. Ellen has taught MYP Math and Science, DP Biology, IPC Science and has even filled in as an IPC art and technology teacher. Ellen is currently enjoying her role as a primary Science and ICT teacher. Besides science, Ellen is interested in languages, she uses this passion to provide support to students who are learning English as an additional language.

Ellen lives in Stockholm with her husband, two teen boys and Taco the cat.
