Philip McCrea

Philip joined the Board of Trustees in October 2019. Arriving in Stockholm in 2014 with his Swedish wife, Annika, SIS was the natural selection for their three children. He supported the school through the SPC and launched the Sports Association prior to joining the Board. With a degree in Economics from Middlebury College in the US, he has lived and worked in Brussels, San Francisco, and New York in the healthcare communications sector. Formerly, he was the Global President of Medical Communications at Red Nucleus working in New York, London, and Stockholm. He is also a guest lecturer at the Stockholm School of Economics and a board member of The Library Project, a non-profit supporting literacy programs in Asia.

Two of his children graduated from SIS and are currently studying at Lund University in Sweden.  He also has a son who graduated from Exeter University and now lives and works in London.
