On 19 October, our junior soccer teams played their first two games of the season in the Stockholm International League (SIL). SIL was founded by SIS a year ago and includes six member schools from the Stockholm region. 

The opponents this time were Futuraskolan International Stockholm and Futuraskolan Stockholm. The girls won both their matches and the boys drew one and lost one. Both teams fought very hard and showed great sportsmanship towards each other, the opponents, and the referees. Overall, a great learning experience and a fun afternoon at Östermalm IP!

The next games for the soccer teams are ISSR and Futuraskolan Kottla. 

In other sports, the junior basketball teams will enter SIL in November. They have already started the season with games against KFUM Central Basket. The teams are hard at work, and showing great improvement on a weekly basis.
