Positive Discipline Workshop In Person

25 January 2025 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

ADD TO YOUR PARENTING SKILLS WITH THIS POSITIVE DISCIPLINE PHASE 2 WORKSHOP

Phase 2 workshop with Catherine McNulty & Floor ten Haaf-Moore

Saturday 25th January 2025, 9:30 am – 4:00 pm at Johannesgatan 18, 111 38 Stockholm.

Have you completed the Phase 1 Positive Discipline Workshop? Welcome to our Phase 2 workshop. We will dive deeper into building a sense of belonging in our children, making connections before corrections, embracing mistakes (ours and our children’s) as opportunities to learn, and the importance of validation. Take your positive discipline techniques to the next level – or refresh your memory with what you’ve learned in Phase One – by building a deeper understanding. You can discover more about the philosophy of Positive Discipline on the official website.

Please note parents and guardians only.  No child supervision will be available.

This is a 7 hour workshop, with an hour dedicated to lunch. Please bring a packed lunch or have a plan for picking up a quick lunch within an hour.

Thank you for choosing to attend the Positive Discipline IN PERSON workshop. Please complete your details below to reserve your place. If both parent/guardian wish to attend, please register separately, each filling in an individual form.

YOUR FACILITATORS

Catherine McNulty c.mcnulty@intsch.se

Catherine is from the United States (a small suburb just outside of Chicago) and moved to Stockholm in December of 2018. With a strong background in early childhood education, Cathy is a grade 3 teacher at SIS. She has been using positive discipline in her classroom for over 15 years. It was just recently – during the Teaching Positive Discipline to Parents course – that Cathy realized she could be using Positive Discipline more effectively at home. She has three sons that attend SIS, each with their own unique personality and ranging in age from 11 to 20 years old. She has found the Positive Discipline techniques helpful in her home setting and is excited to share her experiences with other parents.

Floor ten Haaf-Moore f.haafmoore@intsch.se

Floor is originally from the Netherlands and has been working in International Schools since 2006. She has taught Physical Education and Health PreK-grade 12, Outdoor Learning in Kindergarten and Early Years. She first came into contact with positive discipline in 2017 and has been implementing the strategies mostly in her teaching and parenting and is excited to share these with others. Positive Discipline has been a game changer both personally and professionally. I wish I had known about positive discipline before having kids, but it is never too late to start!
