Kitchen Staff – Temporary Position 75%

Reports to: Business Manager


About the position:
We are looking for a committed and service-minded temporary team member to support our kitchen staff until the summer. We offer a 75% temporary position with an immediate start, running until June 13, primarily to cover temporary absences. This role provides a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to high-quality meal service for our students.

General Responsibilities:

Rotating job on a weekly basis:

  • Vegetables (preparation, rinse, and cutting)
  • ”Save and recycle” (leftover veggies)
  • Handle and distribute fruits
  • Handle dishes
  • Daily cleaning of the kitchen according to regulations
  • Coffee machine in the MB staff lounge
  • Handle garbage
  • Handle food deliveries (lunch caterer)

Occasionally:

  • Sometimes other (related) duties might be assigned

Qualification and experience:

  • Prior experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food service role
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork and good communication skills

Contract

  • Employment rate: 75%
  • Temporary, until June 13
  • Start: Immediate

Fixed salary
