David Osler
Mr David Osler has been Primary School Principal of SIS since August 2009 and Deputy Director since August 2019. He holds a Bachelors Degree in History and International Studies from Rhodes College and a Masters of Education from Belmont University in the USA. He has also been awarded the Certificate of International School Leadership from the Principal’s Training Centre.
David has been with SIS since 2006. During that time he has held the roles of primary classroom teacher, EAL and Learning Support teacher, IPC Coordinator and Whole School Principal. He is an active member of the Council of International Schools, having served on numerous school accreditation teams. He is also a long-serving member of the Nordic Network of International Schools Board of Trustees.
David has three children who, like himself, are growing up in a different country from their parents’ birth countries. This is an experience he shares with many of the students at SIS and is a continual reminder of just how fortunate and unique being part of the international school environment is.
