Mr David Osler has been Principal of SIS since January 2016. He holds a Bachelors Degree in History and International Studies from Rhodes College and a Masters of Education from Belmont University in the USA. He has also been awarded the Certificate of International School Leadership from the Principal’s Training Centre.
David has been with SIS since 2006. During that time he has held the roles of primary classroom teacher, EAL and Learning Support teacher, IPC Coordinator and Primary School Principal. He is an active member of the Council of International Schools, having served on numerous school accreditation teams. He is also a long-serving member of the Nordic Network of International Schools Steering Committee.
David has three children who, like himself, are growing up in a different country from their parents’ birth countries. This is an experience he shares with many of the students at SIS and is a continual reminder of just how fortunate and unique being part of the international school environment is.
