Emily Gregg

Emily grew up in a small town in central Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia where she played with the Redcoat Marching Band (piccolo and trombone) and majored in Voice and Music Education. In 2014, Emily moved to Sweden where she taught music at an IES school before joining SIS in 2021. She now teaches English in Grades 6 and 7 and leads a creative writing course during enrichment.

Emily enjoys reading and writing fantasy fiction. Having grown up in a hot place, Emily appreciates the Swedish winter and takes every chance she can to hike and camp in nature. She has recently taken up cooking as a hobby, but a simple taco will always be her favourite meal.
