Grant Gordon

Grant is originally from Glasgow, Scotland and has been a Grade 3 homeroom teacher at SIS since 2012. Grant’s earlier career was as a professional tennis coach in his native Scotland – a rewarding and fun experience helping children of all ages to develop their tennis skills.

In 2005, Grant sought a fresh challenge and decided to try his hand at classroom teaching. He first gained the CELTA teacher training qualification in Barcelona then followed this up with two years of teaching experience at a school in Stockholm. Grant then returned to university to gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Glasgow. After another year of teaching at a primary school in Glasgow, he returned to Stockholm and started teaching at SIS.

Grant is passionate about teaching and loves nothing more than to see his curious students thrive and learn together.
