Johan McCurdy

MYP/DP Swedish B Teacher

Johan McCurdy has been teaching Swedish at SIS since January 2017 – both the Language and Literature course and the Language Acquisition course.

Johan is an experienced and certified Swedish and English teacher with an MA in Secondary Education from Umeå University and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Uppsala University.

Making a real difference in young students’ lives through teaching is why he chose to become a teacher. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling, reading, muay thai and running ultramarathons.
