Kevin Conrad

Subject Leader Design Department and MYP Design Teacher

Kevin was born in Portland, Oregon, nestled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He completed his B.A. in visual arts and design at Western Washington University. After meeting his partner, he relocated to Stockholm in 2003, where he subsequently earned a B.Ed. at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts, and Design. As a teacher, Kevin’s hope is that his students learn to appreciate the design process and not solely strive for the finished product.

In his spare time, Kevin finds joy in planning and crafting furniture and other DIY projects—a pursuit that conveniently expands his ever-growing collection of tools. Enamoured by the thrill of cycling and the great outdoors, he frequently merges these passions, embarking on cycling and camping adventures alongside like-minded friends, his wife, and their two children.
