Ksenia Potapova

MYP and DP French B Teacher, TOK Teacher

Ksenia is originally from Moscow, Russia, and holds a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpretation (French and Spanish) as well as teaching qualifications from universities in Moscow and Stockholm. She has been teaching languages since 2001 at different schools and courses.

Ksenia joined SIS in 2008. She believes that the motivation when studying a language comes from the knowledge and appreciation of the target culture. In her teaching and educational approaches Ksenia takes inspiration from the pedagogical concepts of Célestin Freinet, Lev Vygotsky, and Janusz Korczak.
