After achieving her bachelor’s degree as a teacher in PHE (2001) Mirjam started her career in the Dutch army as a warrant officer and physical trainer. After some years she left the army and became a teacher, mentor and developer on a job education school. Her focus moved from teaching to mentoring and supporting children that needed extra help. After getting her bachelor’s degree in Applied psychology, she went on as a full time counselor for students with behavioral challenges, development disorders, and autism.
Mirjam is originally from The Netherlands and moved with her family to Sweden in the summer of 2019. She loves being outdoors with her family.
