Fredrik Sand

Board member and Chair of the Governance Committee

Mr. Fredrik Sand is a policy advisor at TechSverige – the association for companies in Sweden’s tech sector. He joined the Board of Trustees in 2014. Mr. Sand has worked for the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) 2018–2019 on policy for higher education and research. Mr. Sand worked for the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in various policy fields, including education and internationalization, 2007–2018.

Previously, Mr. Sand was a civil servant. Working for the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications for nine years, he also had assignments in London and at the Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo. Educated at the University of Stockholm and Sheffield University (UK), he holds a Master’s degree in Political Science.
