Junior school student singing as part of Spring Hat Day

Hats off to the music department

There were still pockets of snow here and there, and grit was still crunching underneath our feet on the roads and pavements when Spring Hat Day came along. But the massive burst of colour and imagination that filled the gymnasium space on April 6 was enough to dispel thoughts of winter and give everyone a sunny disposition, even if the sun itself was still was somewhat curmudgeonly in its attendance.

The music department once again pulled out all the stops and had our juniors singing with great enthusiasm and confidence, as they entertained a large body of proud parents. These happy smiling faces showed just how much everyone enjoyed the Springtime spirit – and the fact that Spring Break was just around the corner probably helped too!
