2001: First IB Diploma Programme students started at the school

2003: Model United Nations activity launched

2003: Mr John Foulkes-Jones became Principal

2004: School changed its name again to Stockholm International School

2007: Enrichment programme introduced for students in grades 6-10

2007: Mr Richard Mast became Principal / Director

2008: Annexe building acquired as student numbers continued to grow. Grades 10-12 are located in this building.

2009: Mr Rune Svaninger became Principal / Director

2000: Øresund Bridge opened, creating road and railway connection between Sweden and mainland Europe

2003: Voters decide not to adopt euro as Sweden’s official currency

2005: Global online shopping and payment provider, Klarna, was founded in Stockholm.

2006: Spotify, the popular music streaming service was founded in Stockholm.
